An article released by Caroline A. Blackie, Od Phd, Alan N. Carlson, MD and Donalrd R. An independent poster presented by Finis, et al titled “Evaluation of an Automated Thermodynamic Treatment (Lipiflow®) system for Meibomian Gland Dysfunction: A Prospective, Randomized, Observer-Masked Trial” concluded independently that a single LipiFlow® treatment is at least as effective as a fully compliant 3-month, twice-daily compress and lid margin hygiene regimen for MGD.1
